I have 20 years experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia in various settings: private practice, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, domestic violence shelters, juvenile justice and forensic facilities and child advocacy centers. Partnering with local law enforcement agencies and district attorneys, I was qualified as an expert witness in trauma and abuse in several metro Atlanta counties and conducted over 300 forensic interviews. I served over 10 years as a governor-appointed Executive Board Member on the State of Georgia Sexual Offender Registration Review Board and am a published author on a variety of mental health topics. I taught psychology at the undergraduate level and conducted workshops on relationship issues, parenting skills, stress management and mandated child abuse reporting.
I received my BA from Emory University and both my M.Ed and Ed.S from the University of Florida. I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst candidate. I am a registered out-of-state telehealth provider for the State of Florida (TPMC4), and am authorized to practice in the State of New Hampshire pursuant to Executive Order #15. I am also a Certified Professional Counselors Supervisor.
I help countless people "figure it out". Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships or other issues, you are the expert of your life. Together we will strive to change a situation that no longer works so you can live your best life.
I look forward to speaking with you!
