With over 23 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals across a variety of settings—from private practice and psychiatric hospitals to domestic violence shelters, child advocacy centers, and the juvenile justice system.
My work has included conducting over 300 forensic interviews in collaboration with law enforcement and district attorneys, serving as an expert witness in trauma and abuse cases. I also spent more than a decade as a governor-appointed Executive Board Member on Georgia’s Sexual Offender Registration Review Board, helping shape policy and practice at the state level.
Beyond clinical work, I’m a published author, former psychology instructor, and experienced speaker, having led workshops and trainings on topics like healthy relationships, stress management, parenting, and mandated reporting.
I hold degrees from Emory University and the University of Florida (M.Ed. and Ed.S.) and am a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). I’m also a registered telehealth provider for the State of Florida.
I believe therapy should feel accessible and empowering. You know your life best—my role is to help you tap into your strengths, navigate challenges, and move toward the life you want to live. Together, we’ll use evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy to create lasting, meaningful change.
Life is complicated enough, therapy doesn't have to be ®️
